History
In 2005, with a group of 25 family and friends, felt that there was a need. It wasn't that there were not plenty of churches already worshiping on Sunday because there are. We simply wanted a great environment to meet with friends and explore questions about God, where everyone would be welcomed.
From 2005-2010 we rented three theaters at regal Cinema theaters in the Greenbrier area. People actually showed up, enjoying free coffee, Panera's pastries, great music and of course, God's word. God has blessed us incredibly over the last five years and we have just recently moved into our existing facilities located at 5045 Indian River Rd., Virginia Beach, VA.
So where's Renaissance going? I truly believe we have only scratched the surfce. But in our short history we already see that the journey consists of lives being changed by the power of God and we are just getting started.
